| I came across this bass today and was wondering if any of you had heard of this one. it had 3 pickups, 1 tone, 1 vol, and a 3 way switch. I was thinking about getting it, thanks for you input. |

I have a Gibson Bass with the same body style, called the Grabber. It has just one pickup, but you can slide it, sorta like a variable selector, from treblely at the bridge to more bassy at the neck.
Very playable, sounds great, and I paid $250 (original HSC included) and the dealer thru in a set of new strings that I've never put on it. I don't know the mileage on them, but they just don't seem to wear out. If the G3 is priced right, I'd jump on it, a real value for you Bass Dollar. |
