Just scopin' out stuff on Ebay and found this

If the price is low enough I may pick it up. But wouldn't the chrome pickup rings cause lots of interference? Or are they chormed colored plastic or what?

Probably cromed plastic.... doubt it would give interference

Pickups already Alnicos - that would be good; and cut your upgrading costs by a lot!

Well I remeber hearing that those strats with chrome pickguards, would get lots of interference and stuff.

Course, I'm not sure how you'd be able to tell since Strats pick up interference like crazy at the best of times! Laughing
