WOW ,WHAT A NICE COLLECTION OF GRETSCH"S...the only GRETSCH I have is a REV HORTON HEAT model.....I love it but find it a bit hard to play after being used to the thinner GIBSON archtops I have.
I have
1...CS Es-335 59 re-issue w/bigsby in NATURAL
2...CS ROY ORBISON ES-335 #35 of 70
3....CS ES-336F
4....1964 Es-330tdsv
5....EPI JOHN LENNNON REVOLUTION CASINO
6...2006 ES-335 DOT
and some others I am forgetting right now !!!!
ANYTHING and everything can be played with an archtop!!!!!!
It's all in your amp, pup, and playing style.....

| It plays and sounds like sweet Wisconsin butter. I'm infatuated with it. |

| I just got a 1951 ES 300 and I love it. I can't believe the action on so old a guitar. A little fiddling with the bridge and this baby holds tuning for ever. It has a very nice warm sound, I love ARCHTOPS! |
