| I have an old "Kustom" amp, I think it's about 30 watt. There's no headphone jack on it but the speaker for the amp plugs into a jack that looks to be the same size as the headphone jack, can I un-plug the amp speaker and use that jack for my headphones? And if if I can't do that is there any way to connect a headphone jack to it? The only other jack on the back is for a foot switch but I think that's an input jack, right? Thanks! |

I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a set of headphones built to take that kind of power. They also may not have an impedance value that will match the amp's transformer. Could fry your transformer, could fry your headphones, could fry your eardrums........ |

| Headphones don't operate on much power, since the "speakers" are right at your ear it only takes a couple of watts to generate more than enough clear volume. You would have to keep the amp turned WAY down! |
