I use 100w tube Marshall with Celestions 25w Greenbacks 4x12 and Gibson/Fender guitars.
I would like to try TREBLE BOOSTER, but I can't buy and try them all on my own.
Please, tell me, what do you think I should go for and why. I'm not after antique pedals, clones are OK I think at this stage, but I won't mind to learn more about first boosters.
What to purchase?
Thanks!! |

I'm sorry again, CanRock! I don't use those things either!
I'm gettin' all the treble I need from my amps and guitars alone. |

Man, I would think that with Gibson and Fender guitars and a 100W Marshall tube amp you would already have enough treble to break glass! I can't help you with this one, either, try that other forum I recommended in your other post. |

I'm going to add this which will also help in your Attenuator quest.
There is a treble boost on some of the Attenuators. |

| I'm a fan of a regular boost. Regular boosts (such as my personal favorite, the Electro Harmonix LPB-1) do practically the same thing. A good amp doesn't need a Treble Boost. A regualr boost will probably benefit you more., |

| Some attenuators have treble boosts on them because they suck treble out of the signal. Treble boosters were originally invented in the days when most cords and effects also sucked the life out of everything going through them. The boosters helped to put top end back in there. |

Yes, you do!
I'm keeping track of all bits of information till I'll be ready to make a final decision.
And of course I can always use software, but is so boring Most of the time when I'm behind computer I'm thinking plugging into amp instead...
I guess I have to try Treble Booster+Attenuator. Besides I wanna try Treble Booster anyway, just to get tones I like.
Thanks again everyone! All and any info helps! |

Well, my list is getting bigger. While surfing around I'm getting educated on subject, thank you all who replied!
That's my list so far (what I have found some people love to use).
I'm thinking collect more reviews. Actually BAD reviews with reasoning WHY THAT THING IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH are helpful too!
Thank you all!
