Good day to all. I've been reading through olds posts, looking for an amp suggestion. I've read lots of great ideas for lead & cranked tone (nothing wrong with that) but I'm a ryhthm player/singer/worship leader, and I'm looking for a clean full tone from my new to me 71/72 335.
Another plus is that it wouldn't be a weighty monster (Roland JC 120 for instance). I just need enough for stage presence since I run the amp through the house system.
I currently own a highly modded Blues Jr, great for gain, not for clean. I have a 40 watt RI Blues Deluxe, way too loud loud to be used effectively, and a Rivera Sedona Lite, which is an acoustic amp. I tried running the 335 through it Sunday, and all the other guitarists gave it a less than stellar reivew.
So if anyone has some experience with a good full but clean clear tone with a 335 I would love to benefit from your experience. Thanks very much! Jeff

Let me add that I have a couple of good 12 inch speaker boxes, and several good speakers to choose from, so an amp head would work fine for what I'm looking for, should such a beast exist!

I'll bet he really has a cool car, and think of how good the stereo must sound! I hope he didn't have to put one of those funky little donut tires on, unless he used four of them to make a lowrider!
