Hi guys,
After thinking about it for a couple minutes, I decided to close down FenderTalk.com - It was kind of stupid anyway and people only talked about guitars on there. |

Thanks for all the hardwork man, can't be easy when you're as busy as you are. |

Since December? Get back to me in 8 years.
It's fun stuff man, I really enjoy it. And I'm REALLY excited about the upcoming changes.
Members have become my friends and been with me through thick and thin. Although I have noticed people enjoy it more when I'm thick. |

I'll say this, I've been a member of various forums and out of them all FT/GT/BT/AT all seem to stand in a class of their own. No gigantic egos and flame wars, everyone seems to just get along without it feeling "forced".
Terrific group of people on these sites. |

Voodoo,
Fender-Talk is offline at present...that's why you're being inundated with F freaks like myself.
Sorry for the rude interruption to the Gibson Talk world. Normal service will (hopefully) be returned as soon as possible. |

How'd I get over here???
Hey, I recognize some of you folks!
(for you strict Gibson-talkers, I'm yet another FT guy who wondered on
over... and for the record, I'm a Gibson guy who uses Fender amps, so now
I finally have a place that won't shun me for asking LP questions .)
You had me scared on the title thread admin!

I agree, the folks on the guitar forums are a very enjoyable bunch. I have some political and religion forums that are pretty busy but I rarely visit because people are always fighting. But I guess that goes with the topic territory.
Current status: Server is up. I have someone updating security thingamabobs and then I'll start setting sites back up. ETA is still Sunday PST. |

Yes, it is! But the difference is Fender GAS is regular, and Gibson GAS is premium! |
