Les Paul reached the 93 year marker on June 9! WOW!

Here's to the guy who changed the world tinkering around in his workshop, and playing guitar like no one before him! Way to go, Red! Cool

#Birthday Les! #Birthday And in addition to the things that SA said, let me add - here's to the man the very first "signature" or "artist's" guitar was named for! Wink Cool Cool

We all hope to be doing as well as Les at 93!

I teach in a completely unrelated field, but once had a student who had done work in Les' house in NJ.. He said he had guitars lined up everywhere. Every room, every hallway, lined with LP's. He said Les was such a great guy, showed them everything in the house, and talked for hours.

I'd be curious to hear what Les says about the Robot guitars. We might be surprised. I've seen everything but the kitchen sink on some of his guitars.

Happer Birthday Lester!!

You're probably right, John! I consider myself much more of a "purist" than Les probably views himself.

Not long ago I turned around a semi-sharp corner... (55) - but I already feel like 93 Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Isn't that man remarkable? I think he is - so congratulations from DK too.

As you know... I bought one of his guitars a month ago (or so...) and I'm very happy about it... it's well build with a build quality I don't think I've seen from Gibson for some time and it looks terrific (taking the attention away from me when playing definately making the audience staying longer Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy )
