Wow! What a tremdious loss to the guitar playing community! He was truely a underated, under appreciated player.
I looked on you tube but could not find the clip where he played "the devil went down to georgia" with Roy Clark. If you ever see that clip, I am pretty sure Jerry kept right up with ole' Roy. It was very cool to see it done on guitar instead of a fiddle.

| Whoa! That is a major blow. Jerry was truly one of the greats on a guitar. It is strange that you rarely hear him mentioned unless you're talking to another one of the "greats." They recognize the stature of that man's talents. Rest in peace, brother Jerry, you wil be sorely missed. |
