Hi there,
I am new to this forum.
I have a 1979 Grabber with black finish. The headstock and neck-back are also painted all in black, with the gold-silkscreen head logo. But what I often see on the internet or magazines are typically natual head (with black head logo) and natural neck-back, even if the body is black finish. Is the "all-black" finish a characteristics of late year models, or any other reason? |

Welcome to the forum, manik! I can't answer your question about the Grabber, I don't know the answer. Perhaps someone else? |

I'm also new here.... I don't really have an answer , but can tell you that I have an early 80's (forget exact year) Grabber, and the body and neck is natural but the headstock is black with the gold logo. I too have seen mostly 70's Grabbers with the natural headstock, so perhaps the year does have to do with the headstock color.

Im from England, and I reaaaaaally want to own a 1974 - 1985 Gibson Grabber. But I have no idea where to get them from....I cant find any Gibson distributors that sell them, which would mean only private sales would be the option.
Anyone got any ideas?

Welcome to the forum, Matt! Probably the best place to find one would be on Ebay. Everything seems to wind up there. Ebay will also give you a good idea on what they REALLY sell for, not what a shop asks. |

'Zactly, Herb! Ebay is a great marketplace for instruments, and a reliable value gauge. |
