|
|
Hey all.
I would like to put some Grover Rotomatics on my 97 Sunburst Casino, but I want to get something that will drop right in to the current holes. I'd rather not do any drilling/reaming, etc.
Will the standard chrome Rotomatics work for me? I believe that's what's on my '03 Elite Casino.
Thanks!

| My experience with the Grover "Roto-matics" is you will have to drill the post holes bigger. As you know this is not reversible; once you've done it, they're there for good. You also have to be careful not to chip the wood on the back of the headstock when the bit breaks through, and not to chip the faceplate material on the face of the headstock, either. |

Herb,
Thanks! So what tuners are going to be good drop-in replacements? The Gotoh vintage ovals are nice (used those to upgrade an old Gretsch once).
Where can get the headstock/tuner specs so that I can check them against the specs of possible replacements?
Thanks! |

Those would be "Vintage" sized holes.
Check www.wdmusic.com and let me know if you want more info on any specific sets. |
