How does anyone work on these archtops?!

I just bought my first semi-hollow archtop, a 1999 John Lee Hooker Sheraton, and I'm asking myself how does anyone work on these things? I can't even get a finger into the f-holes. What do you do if a wire breaks or something?

Heh-heh... you find a girlfriend with very tiny fingers and teach her to solder with a thin solderin' pencil, some long zirconium encrusted tweezers and a dentist's mirror! Laughing Laughing

No, you just have to have a ton of patience and take the innards out by removing the nuts that hold the pots on, and fishing the whole works out through the little f-hole. It's not fun, it ain't easy, but it can be done. I've done it. Cool
