Here is a shot of several racks of candy about to go out the door. Next we have a shot of some sweet archtops on the racks just back from sanding then there is this shot of the router making the tops for the L-7 and the L-5. Note this is the same equipment and jigs from Kalamazoo. Next we have Next is a shot of a beautiful tiger striped Les Paul. I think this one was going to have P-90's Too bad the picture isn't clear the wood was unbelievable. . Next is the shot if the Gruhn's Guitars showroom in Nashville. The great thing is these guys will let you take anything down off the wall and play it without hassle. Look at all those yummy Gibbys That's about all I have of interest from the Custom Shop. The fellow that used to run the place was really a gem. He took pictures of the entire process of my guitar and put them in the case for me. Sweet. |

| Yeah the Cutom Shop was awesome. You can see me reading the lables on the racks each one on that rack was going to people like Carly Simon, Bob Seager, etc. It was a who's who list of A listers. Too bad I can't find the shots of the paint shop, there must have been 100 finished guitars hanging in there plus all the one's on the way in. Just an incredible trip. I watched a women putting the Mother of Pearl inlays in the headstock of a 49 Super 400 man was she good. Love to retire and go there to work. Imagine what you could learn and what you would see. The guy doing the set-up work could shred your face off. He gets to handle and play everyone of those babys. Nice work. |
