Well, howdy Blues Fans! Cool

I'm just a player from out in Oregon, USA, where I play most weekends at my church. It's kinda like my retirement gig. I've got a regular crowd who love me, and show up to cheer us on. We get to play in a nice, clean environment with great equipment, don't have to worry about drunks gettin' in fights and breaking up your gear, and we still get to play loud and go crazy. It's a pretty ideal gig for a weekend job.

I've got a bunch of guitars, somewhere in the 20s I guess, and most of them are Gibsons now. A lot of them I bought from our own Voodoo Funk! The stars of my show have to be my Lester, a Paul I've played for over 30 years now, Ashley (my homebuilt Telecaster), and my Lucille. But there's lots of other beauties stashed around the house, and they get some playing time now and then, too. I've also got more amps than I can justify, but hey, a guy's gotta have some kind of expensive hobby! Cool

Stay tuned,
Stan

Stan, you lucky dog. My wife and I have vacationed in Oregon several times, have done the Oregon coast, often stay in Hood River. We have usually gone in July, and it's great to get away from the TX heat. We've been up on the Ski slopes, walking in the snow on Mount Hood on the 4th of July when it's 105 here....

Found the area around Mt St Helens beautiful and facinating as well.

Do you ride a motorcycle? If I lived out there, you'd have to pry me off mine....

I have, for most of my life, but about 5 years ago I sold my last one and have kicked myself near every day for those five years! Rolling Eyes

I have lost the "want-to" though, and I'm about ready to jump back into the saddle. Heck, I've already got the clearance from my spousal unit, so now I just have to clear it with my conscience vs. the check book. We're gettin' close though! Cool
