Does anyone use a delay pedal in their set-up. I'm thinking about getting one. Right now I'm micing my amp and using the delay on my mixer, and it sounds pretty cool, especially for solos. I don't want to go pedal crazy. I've got my Tube Screamer. THinking about a delay, and maybe a chorus. What's on your pedal board, if you have one?

You asked what's actually on the board, so I'll start.

I'm with my son, trying to get into College, and we're living half or more in a new Province, with the old Driver's Licence, Health Cards and a load of old metal pedals, coming out of our ears. Shocked Not many guitars or amps though, keepin' it quiet? Embarassed

The Delay is the Dot on Shaft Guitars E20DL, and it's great. Also, no problems and can't ever be off base with DOD - Ice Box Chorus. Those are his. I use multi-effects, have sold out to technology, except for my Ibanez's, Boss units and Danelectro pedal collection which are all in storage, more than just physically locked up.

I've seen Winnipegs's big stores and selection; T-Rex makes good stuff but the prices are outrageous. If I was in the market, I'd further my adventures with Danelectro and go for the metal-encased Wasabi forward & reverse Delay.

Also of interest & reasonable, if you think that mini electronic boxes are cute, with big tone, are the Guyatone MD3 Delay, and MC3 chorus, a nice affordable little duo?

Visual sound V2 Liquid Chorus is IMO a fairly standard unit, but I think you want Delay first and foremost. Wink

I've also added Vibrato through my new/old 1970 Vibro Champ, or heavy reverb through the Blues Junior and can dial in extra interesting sounds (vibrato/some tube saturation, brightness and reverb), adding to my multi-purpose ZOOM G1 where I choose mainly the patches with Chorus & Delay plus or minus my recently acquired BBE Sonic Stomp, and my brand new Gibson SG Deluxe guitar! Thanks Dwight. I've tried multi-effects stuff. Don't like them much. I had a Zoom and it quit working. I've got a Digitech RP200? It's OK, kinda over the top, plus half the effects quit working on it too. Ibanez has a reasonably priced delay pedal, tone-lock, or something like that. I was thinking about trying it, it's only 69 bucks.

Boss makes some nice delays, and MXR just came out with an analog box, I think it's called Carbon Copy. In my pedalboard, I'm using the delay half of the VS Liquid Chorus and it is excellent. Cool
