| Thunder, the only pickups that make a difference on that beast tonewise are the neck and the bridge. The other two just get some of the in between variances (and there aren't that many on a bass). They weren't much more than spares. An EB-3 should make all the same sounds. |

I know, but it was unique... I dig the looks I get when I break out the 3-Gibby-bucker Memphis or some kinda franken bass. & as far as volume & boomy-ness , It would be a cabs certain death to try to get anymore volume or thump than an EB-0 or EB-3! But it was cool looking, you`ve got to admit  |
